So if anyone has any interest in getting rid of their library editions, people are selling the later volumes of season 8 at over £100 a pop because they are out of print.
Neither would I! I mean I mostly bought them because they were a big print and collected a lot of issues, rather than it being a collectible. I also bought them when they first released and the RRP was £24.99 and I got most for £20. Seems insane that people are paying out hundreds now for used copies. I saw one go, used, for near £300.Oh, they look really nice! Wouldn’t pay 100s for it, but I can see why others would. Good collector’s item
I might should try to dig mine out though I can't imagine them getting that much money as they are not still shrink-wrapped. Ebay in the US they aren't going for nearly as much.Just thought I'd bump this in case anyone here has these and is currently looking to raise funds.
Tough trying to work out what's the going rate and what might have been an anomaly. A lot of them do seem consistently high though so if you're looking to sell then it's probably a good time to list with a reserve or high starting point.I might should try to dig mine out though I can't imagine them getting that much money as they are not still shrink-wrapped. I paid less than that for one of my Sandman Absolute Editions - that was new with a RRP of £100!I bought Angel Vol 6: Last Angel in Hell for £48, which is the most expensive single book I've bought from Ebay, I think. The cheapest on there now is £52.80 plus p&p.
