Buffy destroying property

Well Buffy would have gotten help with Dawn for one thing.

I've always wondered as to how complete the memories of Dawn were. Hard for me to believe that the monks actually changed the memories of everyone, ,everywhere who might ever have encountered Dawn. That would have been pretty darn huge. Even Buffy and Joyce had moments where they knew something was off about her, and the men in the hospital saw that she wasn't right.

I wonder if Hank, even if on some bland level knew Dawn was his child would have had any sense of responsibility for her. I wonder if the monks went that far. Their major concern was to get the Slayer to protect Dawn. After the situation with Glory was over there were no support nets in place to take care of Dawn as a human.

Hank didn't even care about Buffy, and it appeared they had a good relationship at one time.
 
But that in Season 10 when Dawn around 20 & gotten used to after all those years not having him around .
So it was easy for him to do that .
 
Plus acknowledging Dawn as your daughter is so easy especially if you not giving her anything.
