All of them stayed in Europe & never travelled to America.........Thus eliminating both Spuffy & Bangel, and ending the Shipping wars before they even bagan!!!!

That sometime in the 1890's the whirlwind actually kinda averted an apocalypse/something really bad from happening (akin in scale to the Mayor or Adam, not Glory or Acthla).
Or maybe just killed some really evil demon lord/cult simply because it was ruining their fun and being an incredible drag. Being evil should be FUN- all members of the whirlwind can agree on that and so would brutally cull any non-fun evil.

Ensouled Angel stays in Europe, continuing his old habit of only feeding on people who he judges don't deserve to live (murderers, rapists, etc) until he is caught and staked by Holtz. Darla and Dru move to Rome and become the Immortal's mistresses. Spike remains active as a vampire until World War 2, when he feeds on a German SS officer and takes his identity. Developing a taste for Germans and Schnapps, he decides to stay there throughout the war, and actually forms a working relationship with both the French resistance fighters in Paris and the British OSS, which, in turn, results in an alliance with the Watchers Council, who assign a Watcher, Sir Randolph "Randy" Giles, to be as his partner and liaison with the Allies. Spike and Giles become good friends, and continue working together after the war, tracking down war criminals and recovering stolen artifacts, one of which is a variant of the Gem of Amara, which allows Spike to work in daylight hours.
Randy Giles meets, falls in love with, and marries an Irish nurse, Elizabeth Hanrahan. Spike is named as godfather of their only son, Rupert, and takes on the responsibility of raising twelve year old "Ripper" when Randy and Elizabeth are killed by agents of a demon known only as the Immortal. The next ten years are spent in training the young man in the fighting, linguistic, and academic skills necessary to following in his father's footsteps and becoming a Watcher. With Spike's aid, his first assignment for that organization is the successful location and execution of the Immortal in Rome, Italy. Over the next couple of decades the demonic community come to fear the names Spike and Ripper.
Ripper is temporarily assigned to duty recording supernatural activity on and around the hellmouth in Sunnydale, California, where he also is to serve as advisor to Albert Merrick, a Watcher who has been given his first assignment as handler for a new Slayer, Buffy Summers. Within months of assuming his duties, Merrick is killed in the line of duty, requiring Giles to take charge of Buffy, which is made more convenient by arranging for Buffy's newly divorced mother to become employed in a local antique shop in Sunnydale. After some resistance by the young girl, Buffy and Giles form a good working partnership.
When it is discovered that the Master, one of the most powerful Master Vampires of all time, is working near the hellmouth, Giles sends for his friend, Spike, to help him and his young Slayer prevent what is discovered to be the Master's plan to dominate the world. To celebrate a reunion with his old friend and mentor, Giles throws a small welcoming party for Spike, inviting Buffy, two of her new friends from school, and his fiance, Jenny Calendar, who bakes a special cake for the occasion. Written in blood red letters on the chocolate frosted devils food cake is a simple message...
