If you could remove 1 episode in the verse

Waiting in the Wings is also one of my favourite Ats episodes. Absolutely love its atmosphere, and the story is simple yet compelling.
I'd probably remove The Girl in Question : it's embarrassing on just too many level, and the cringe factor is reaally strong.

So true, I re-watched it recently and found the Italian stereotyping/caricaturing quite offensively bad. It was like they watched Mickey Rooney's portrayal of an asian in Breakfast at Tiffany's and thought 'oh yes! That is a good idea!'.

If this episode was released in this day and age there would be an internet uproar.

Also, if they couldn't get SMG they should have just left her out of it. It always felt so cringy and forced when they shoehorned Buffy into Season 5 without SMG.

But because of the tone of the episode, I try not to take it too seriously and sort of give it a pass, even though I probably shouldn't.

You're right, there are some beautifully funny lines sprinkled throughout the episode, and I did enjoy the sideplot with the Burkles as well. Buffy and Angel had a tendency to gloss over the aftermath of the outside world dealing with the death of characters. I appreciated that there was some thought given to it here. I would have preferred that storyline to have more space and have the Italy storyline cut down. So for me it isn't an episode I would get rid of entirely, just amended a tad. I stand by initial episode of Lies My Parents Told Me getting deleted from the run.

Easy as cake,"Billy". To the viewer it is unclear what their trying to say but if its the real on the nose clunker we think it is, that violent women hating men are bad, the execution is equally as poor all the way through. I'm irked at Angel's patronizing attitude towards Cordelia, Cordelia's empowering but inadvertently victim blaming speech, the total cop out of Angel being the only one left immune and smelling like roses, Fred being made into Wesley's emotional caregiver at the end of a episode where he tried to murder and assault her.

This is credence to the sense I get from them in their darker moments being the new Spike & Dru, 2.0. Angel on the other hand is worthy of that line, since he is clearly committed to the same mission, her saying that about him would have worked. Spike is not quite there yet, being the finale and all, his redemption arc was rushed it, it felt incomplete. His time on Angel would have been put to better use.

I'm not sure about this. I think a Black, Hispanic or Asian Buffy could well face a different set of problems on top (and TBH, I find this quite exciting - if that doesn't sound too perverse). Otherwise, I completely agree with everything you say.

This isn't a Warren situation no one's going to prosecute Wood for killing or trying to someone who's technically already dead she's the law when it comes to the supernatural as victims or potential ones as much as when they're perpetrators.

I don't believe in the concept of capital punishment either.

It never occurred to me that people would react like that to the Italians in TGIQ. I recently became aware of the history of racism against Italian-Americans in America, but here in Europe, Italians are just the people of Italy, so I don't think we generally see them as deserving of any particular consideration.

The only Scandinavians I remember in BtVS are Anyanka, Sven the exchange student and Olaf the Troll God. They're Swedish, though, and Swedish people are weird, so it doesn't bother me that much.

If I could get rid of one scene from BtVS it'd be Faith raping Buffy & Riley in Who Are You. Its like in Thor Ragnarok when they made Valkyrie a slave trader. They could've easily not done that and I would've been there with everyone else loving the character and liking that she came around and helped the good guys.
