He cheated to his ex wife. That made him a bad husband. back then. Maybe people change for the better sometimes. Actually our fav show did that storyline a few times.
Joss and Heather are married since Spring 2021. Heather is now very friendly with the usual Joss' friends of his shows. She is an artist, a painter, she even painted many from our fav Joss' shows in regular visits/parties to their home, like J August, Amy, Felicia, the 3 main The Nevers cast members.... Such a great artist and a very nice person.

Yes, I'm aware Joss cheated on this ex wife with multiple women. That's public knowledge. The point I'm trying to make is it's a gamble marrying a man who has a history of cheating. It's been my experience once a cheater always a cheater. Of course there are exceptions.
And I don't doubt his wife is a good person, just that she may have poor taste in men. Not a judgment. I can relate.

By all accounts, Amy is about as Team Joss as anyone. She owes her entire career to him.

She was there, yes, and she is still friends with him. Like many more and he still hangs out with them like always (just recently: weddings, hiking weekends, Christmas and Halloween parties, Wimbledon finals on TV and of course in every Heather exhibition). They were there and are still friends with him. Maybe they know the truth and it isn't as bad as many fans think. But thats just my opinion.

Re: Anti-Joss; To be fair, Kai, Sarah, Charisma and Ray Fisher were the people with significant issues with Joss. Everything else came down to Joss being a jerk on an low budget show with 18 hour days.
Don't get me wrong, someone clearly hates the guy, or thinks he's too much of a liability to keep him active. But ultimately, his lack of work probably isn't about the enormity of his crimes at this point.

I mean, forgiveness is a thing and so is change. So not surprising that he still has friends or new people in his life that loves him.
Those who don’t want any part of him stay away. Makes sense. It is not that different from Nick Brendon who, despite doing terrible things, still had love and support in his life and plenty of sympathy from fans 🤷♀️ Not sure why Joss should just crawl under a rock and disappear.

The actors he "favoured" did their job, without second guessing him. After all, he created the legendary shows which made them famous. And they appreciated that, unlike a few divas who thought it was all about them.
Frankly, I don't care about Kai, or anything else involving his personal life. I respect his work, and that's ALL that matters.

This is typical Hollywood where infidelity isn't exactly a bad thing but commonplace. Just look at Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant survived many infidelities..
As for Joss Whedon, him cheating does not undermine his character.

Joss hasn't been canceled by any actor whom he has worked with. In fact many of the Avengers and Agents Of Shield actors whom he has worked with continue to speak highly of him
