I agree with the sentiment but to clarify is framily yet another internet word I don't get like the 'stan/fan' thing; does it mean like, a collective of wonderful people with a shared niche interest; combining 'family' and 'friends' into framily? 😛

Also yeah, lack of punctuation and running words together makes a post really hard to understand. Now I tend to ignore them,

Oh, I've been using this for years! framily= friend family So, in my opinion, a more intimate term than just friends, because it asserts that the friends have become family. Does this make sense?

It’s funny I've never paid attention that some member’s posts here could lack clarity. Myself, as a Frenchman, so English is not my native language, I admit that I sometimes have trouble writing my messages. It often lacks clarity indeed, and I think I make a lot of mistakes in grammar and verbs. It’s not easy. I am far from being among the members who express themselves best here (see this phrase I’m not even sure it’s correct 🧐). But I'm trying to improve the quality of writing of my posts. I think that's the best I can do. Hoping that I remain understandable at least.

Seems like half the board is just blank to me because the gifs cause my brain to glitch.
Its becoming a waste of time to log in and just see blank posts everywhere with no written description, so only getting snippets of what is going on.

Another reminder to not just use gifs. Your post has to still make sense if others cannot see the gif.

Just a reminder about a few things we've notice an increase in lately.

Please remember to use capitalization, punctuation, good grammar, and correct spelling (to the best of your ability). Without these things, it makes posts harder to read, and also, if you don't take the time to make your post readable other people won't bother to read your posts. Mistakes happen, and that's okay, we're not asking for perfection, but if you didn't include a capital letter in your entire post, that's just being lazy. This is a discussion forum, not twitter or tumblr.

In that line - please try not to post just a gif as your reply to a discussion.

Finally, please remember that this board is family friendly. Let's post so everyone can enjoy the board. We rarely edit things out of posts, but there has been an uptick in cursing/vulgar language. Peppering posts with curse words for no reason is unnecessary and cheapens what you're saying. Usually you can get your meaning across without it, so if it isn't needed in your post, leave it out. And there are ways to discuss sexual acts without being vulgar about it, so please phrase things in an appropriate way.

These things will help keep the board enjoyable for all members. Thank you!

I've been wondering about cursing since I did notice that no one seemed to be cursing but before now, I couldn't find where there were any rules against it. But I do obviously now know that there is, in fact, a no cursing rule so I'll do my best to remember that. I do believe I have posted a curse word or two, though.

sometimes its hard to think in english, im dutch so dutch is my first and english my second, also speak german(a bit) french( a bit) and italian (a few words). I will obey the rules and im not that kind to swear.Have nice day
