Started The Traitors Canada but I get distracted. I prefer shows like survivor with the appealing beach element.

Masterchef has been ok this year. Just ok. Seems many are playing it safe to get to the end, nothing too imaginative as there has been on other seasons, but then again, how much can you really push the limits with food? Its still a nice winter comfort show, but thats as far as it goes. I like the judges more than the contestants (especially Poh).

Below Deck Down Under had the housewives of Salt lake City, who are my favourite housewives, so that has been a nutso watch. Hopefully I get to see the housewives version of it too when it gets here.
 
The Traitors AU is tomorrow. I have the sneak peak episode again. Cant wait to see how Gretal will do! Fun cast too (I hope) seems to have spent a lot of time in post production.

Tully is as beautiful as ever. Loving all the glamourous 50 and 60+ year olds too. Great spread in the casting. I ALWAYS love to see Kirby, she is just an excellent example of a human to have on TV. Shane looks fit and well and they know you are a threat hah. Dont kid yourself lady. Is Rob Johns son? I dont know much about him. Ugh Keira, I dont enjoy watching her, I did a little bit on Im a Celeb because she was tortured, but I dont like her.

Bringing the dramatics in the bridal gown. I still maybe wana marry AJ....
HAHHAHA bowl of keys brings back fond memories, laughed out loud. Probably played with Dicko.
Shane already has a target on her now with that unfortunate beginning. I am a bit sad if she does go first, how terribly typical to knock off the old one. Yes Whoever said get Keira off do that please!!!

Aquarians aren't sexy "oh hello" HAHAH go Gretal. She does one on one interviews so well, give Gretal a talk show if this doesnt work out for her.

Dicko is quick off the mark. Im liking the alliances forming so fast. I thought Dicko might be attracted to Henry but if Kirby can nab him, it might work in her favour. I hope Alex targets Keira asap!! Oh nooo thats sad kween heard kirby get tapped 🙁

Aww Gretal with puppies, I love her. I duno what it is about missions on this show, but I so easily check out, in all versions.

Alvin is a cutie, Im glad he gets a role in this. Kirby is going to rule these traitors if kween doesnt take her out. Good Alex telling Kirby this, but if they take kween out that might be too obvious... yah good call Alvin. Alex is smart, shes right about Dicko too. HAHA Keira is a safe bet to blow herself up, true.

Ok start, I find it a bit long to be honest! Especially when there was no one out on the first ep. But I like the cast, and enjoy watching most of these people so far.
 
Traitors AU ep 2 Reacts

I predict Shane murdered because she is an easy target. It works in Kirbys favour too. They should know better to underestimate boomer women, they are the most cutthroat of the lot.

I dont know Lawson but he has a gameplan based on personality by the looks. Wow Shane still in! Who did they kill??? Dont worry Rob, no one cares about you enough to murder you. Maybe Dicko gone? He is likely to steal a lot of their screentimes lol. Keira already being a kitchen utensil, I hope Manaaki can out bitch her.

Oooh Kirby got Kween, I say good call as long as it doesnt backfire on Kirby. OOpsie redhead reese is cluey on it.

I wonder is Alvin is already plotting a vote on Kirby, because she is such a strong personality, I doubt she is too long for the game. Shes gotta act... haha. I knew Dicko would take a firm hold, its what he does best.

I like Gretal, but the old host was great too, Im not sure its an upgrade as much as just a sideways move.

I am worried Kiera might stay in the game cos she is such a tool, no one sees her as a threat.

Interested how AJ will play this game, its far harder to strategize than on survivor. Kirby, are you digging a hole?

LMAO they have to drive themselves? Budget cuts everywhere. Who woulda thought, Henry would be a threat! I guess I am already on team Kirby, but I just dont think she can act as well as she will need to. We saw some of these nervous vulnerabilities in AU vs The World, she is playing softer each round.

Kirby slipped up! Manaaki is a good cast choice, fun. Dicko is driving against Shane, he knows game. I think they know she is not a traitor, Dicko just wants her out. Rob didnt fight for the vote against Kirby surprisingly... the alliance chose before they went in. There were some good arguments for suspects.

I want hair like Gretal when I grow up. Awww AJ marry me 😍

Dicko has a good point, the traitors being replenished means they are trying to hit a moving target. It makes far more sense to keep the traitors you know until later in the game. Smart play Dicko, Rob doesnt have the reality experience nor skills.
 
Oh my Survivors are not united 🙁 I dont like to see them cry.

Gretal is still doing good, not over bearing as a host, but still quick witted. I still want her on her own talk show.
 
I LOVE the way the aussies are playing this season, especially Dicko and AJ. I hope it doesnt fizzle out.

Survivor 51 has been fun, gives me hope for the 50's. They still reverted back to three tribes which was annoying, but it started out ok. The latest episode was the worst so far.

BBUK has been GREAT! A billion million times better than last season. Far out, last season was a slog. This season has much better casting, and although there are mostly assholes left, they are a truer reflection of society and a better example of a social experiment than last season was. The last eviction interview was the funnest.

BBAU is just about to start. The first episode is filming as I type, but it wont go live until tomorrow night. I'll be off watching the live feed. I wish it had started tonight cos Im more in the mood for typing tonight! I dont expect fantastic things, but I will watch it and bitch about it anyway. And be forever thankful that I live alone and can turn them off when they piss me off.

Survivor 51 started good but haven’t been able to get back into it the last 2 episodes. Trust Jeff to overproduce it out of enjoyment. 😅😅

Remind me… did they get a new host for Traitors AU? We loved the first 2 seasons! It’s been so long since they aired though.

I'm actually not sure of the run time, but I do know the budget is tight. 14 housemates for a $100,000 prize. Applications were extended time and time again, so they obviously struggled for applicants with such a low prize. I am waiting for the stream to go live, it could be any minute now. I'll be hooked with the stream on, and will struggle finishing BBUK once I start lol. I know I go parasocial online.

Gretal was the new host for s3, she was the original BBAU host. She did have fun with the role, there was nothing wrong with the last host either. I really enjoyed the first half of season 3. I think one of the best I have seen, but I was NOT in the majority with that opinion. I thought that it started out SO clever. I love my survivor players (especially AJ) so I enjoyed watching them in this.

Were there intruders last season? I can’t quite remember. We never get intruders in BBUS, so I look forward to that in the international versions! Hoping to start it tonight but hubs is into The Terminal List. 🙄

Interesting. I heard production moved too. If it doesn’t drop on Peacock soon, I’ll look for other ways to watch it. 👀

I liked the brother/sister twist. I think Eboni is performative so that’s annoying. But she seems like behind the act, she’s a genuinely nice person. The cast seems SO much younger than last year! I thought it was cool they had TWO teachers on there too!

I did hear Mel say it will be a LONGER season, thank goodness!! But I wonder how much longer. It’s nearly 3 months in the states!

I think so. But I certainly enjoy it!
 
I was thinking that this season I would just stick to the live stream and not watch the daily show, but they cut the feed for daily show parts, so I am going to have to watch the daily show to see those bits. Also, I miss Mel. She's adorable.

Ebony is outrageous, she's really playing her part. I have been commenting on her washing the dishes for the last hour. She is saying every nasty thing she can possibly think of, because she knows it will attract the views and the hate. Extremely performative, but the dumbassas on socials are lapping it up, thinking she is being for real. Shes playing her part and its hilarious.

It is a young cast, but more intelligent. Heath is playing, he is smart, he's buddy buddy with all the old ducks. He clocked that Anita was Reggies sister last night. Ebony is obviously playing her bit, she knows shes not in for a long time but shes looking for maximum exposure. I was surprised that both of them were so young, they have this sussed.
 
Dinner party topics from tonight will be much better when they are condensed. It was long. There isnt as much muting on the stream this season, but we still have a full house. I expect more washer exposure as it goes on and they have less content for the daily show.

Honestly, Ebony doing the dishes was the highlight of the day. She was so nasty and it was hilarious. She served up the dinners and said "I hope you all choke" . That was after she asked if ratstail ryan could poison the dinner.

Some of the ladies are trying to keep the peace, Ebony is trying to smash that peace.
 
I have to catch up on episodes! It’s actually genius what Ebony is doing. Getting people talking about her will hopefully keep her in. You can tell how she’s not actually like that in small moments though (at least I noticed that on night 1)
 
I still havent watched much of the daily shows so I only have live context to a lot of it. I was surprised at people defending Kyrah on other socials, its so obvious that she is the problem on the live.

Also Matty seems popular, he seems to be getting a great edit, but hes a bit of prick from every thing I have seen.

Ebony is consistent across the board lol.

Austin and Ebony had cute moments last night. I dont want to see a showmance, I want to see Ebony use her wiles to bring all of the men under her power and never be nominated again.
 
Noms were great! Like, yeah this show is past its heyday but I choose to enjoy it. Ebony cracks me up on the live stream ALL day. She is, by far, the most entertaining. I've stopped posting about her cos she has some extreme haters that are looking for a fight.

Ebony got head of house, was able to save either Matthew or Phoebe. She chose to save Matthew and then told him to his face that he had less of a chance of surviving the eviction (she thinks Phoebe is more popular and will be safe). SO funny. She hadnt told Phoebe that version yet so poor Phoebe was alone in the loos crying for a bit... we'll see if they show Ebonys reasoning or if the edit will use it to break up their friendship.
I will probably vote to save Phoebe, but will wait til later.

Kyrah is getting a totally different edit than the stream, her diary rooms are the only thing telling her story. Shes far more emotionally reactive than shes displayed as. Im surprised she didnt get a lot more points. Matty plays it up in the diary room too, he is a shit stirrer, for sure, out in the main house, but really turns it up in the diary room.

Austin and Matthew are actually closer to each other than either is to Ebony. Ebony jokes with everyone in the house , even Anita despite the edit. They are using Ebony to up Anitas content this week, making Ebony pick on Anita so they have more to play on the daily show. Pam has her faves - cliquey. Ryan, Tahlia, cute enough, both appear to have a foot fetish. Keen to see Charitys cooking this week. Heath and Marshy are sorta just there, but we had a lovely view in the pool today and that was Marshys doing.

Now I gotta catch up on Survivor 51 from last week!
 
I agree. I love Ebony. The way she’s triggering Kyrah and Pam is hilarious. But I get it because the persona she is acting as reminds me of some of my immature students. But you can quite clearly see she’s putting it on.
 
BAHAHA your timing is amazing, I have the live stream on right now, Pam and Matty are talking in the kitchen. Pam just let slip that Kyrah has nudes out in the wild and if that gets out, she'll be gone as a teacher. So no wonder Kyrah was saying the other day that she wasnt going to return to teaching. Matty said she worked herself up into a manic state, so it must have been a slip up.

Tahlia and Ryan are doing a task, its some sort of confetti riddle and Ryan said, if Ebs was here she'd figure it out. I am sure they will have a montage of this task in the daily show tomorrow. Big brother keeps telling them to stick their face in confetti and dance and then blows the whole lot away. Now they have started talking about poo 🙁 Bed time for me.
