Rupert's First Couple of Days at the Sunnydale School Library
(As requested by @NotASlayer)

Reading the mail that told him to be at a local school, he would be starting at the school as the Librarian, that was the cover for him. He was going to be the Watcher for a relatively new Vampire Slayer when she got to the school. The following morning he had not long opened the doors of the library when one of the elder school
girls wandered in.

Embarrassed because he kept looking at the girl, it quickly became obvious to him that she wasn't the slayer though there was something about her. He went to sort out the papers behind the counter which gave him the excuse to keep watch on the girl. She was a relatively nice girl that he did like looking at, as she had the lovely red hair that he liked.

If only he had been a few years younger, like about forty of them. He smiled to himself and opened a book and set to learning about the ancient history of the town and was soon deep in concentration.
“What are you so engrossed in?”

Suddenly aware he was not by himself he looked up towards the voice.
“Hmm?” he asked.
“I asked what you were so engrossed in?”

“Sorry, yes, I was deeply engrossed in this book, I hope you don't mind my asking, what is your name?”
She allowed a grin to be on her face.
“Not really, the name is Willow.”

Willow looked at the contents of the book curiously asking him.
“What is that you are reading?” asked Willow.
Mr. Giles faced the contents of the book, almost embarrassed.

“I am reading about the history of this town, do you know anything about the area?” asked Mr. Giles.
“I don't think there is anything of interest to know about this town, not that I am aware of,” said Willow
“For starters this town was once under the control of Spanish invaders though that was long after the town was controlled by others like the Vikings,” said Mr. Giles.

“I have been interested in the history of this town but I've never found any books that'll help me,” said Willow.
“I brought these books with me from where I last worked, that was the English Museum in London, I doubt if you'd find anything of interest about actual history here,” said Mr. Giles.

“At the actual English Museum in London, wow, what part of it did you work in?” asked Willow.
“Not exactly, I was in charge of all the museum,” said Mr. Giles.
Willow was unable to hide her emotions, Giles could see she had just developed a crush on him.

“Is there much else you can tell me about here?” asked Willow unable to hide her interest.
“This town is the centre of a mystical upheaval, I have read much about what has been and there are mentions of what is going to happen here,” said Mr. Giles.
Willow stared at him, she was now unable to hide her smile.

Mr. Giles smiled as well, he knew he would be able to hide his days when he was known as the Ripper.

Rupert's First Couple of Days at Sunnydale High

Willow is surprised to see a girl standing beside her, she grins to the girl next to her,
“What do you think of him?” asked Willow.
“I'm not sure I care for his choice of books, some of them are quite odd,” she said.

“I'm Willow who are you?”
“Buffy Summers I'm new here.”
“You are, and you came to the library on your first day?” asked Willow.

Willow faced Mr. Giles,
“There's a thing she comes in here on her first day, that's a novelty,”
Mr. Giles glared at her, “Buffy Summers, welcome, I was told to expect you.”

He pushes the book entitled Vampyres towards Buffy.
Willow stares at the book,
“Why would he give you that book to read?”

Buffy grins to Willow.
“He guessed I'd like to look at the pictures,” said Buffy.
Willows brow furrows, “What?”

“Well he wouldn't give a the book on witches to look at the pictures would he?” asked Buffy.
Willow wanted to grin but felt as though she ought not to.
She didn't want to give Buffy the wrong idea about her.

So she thought what she might think if she didn't grin.
“Hm,” muttered Willow.
“This town has a lot of history, going back a millennium or two, maybe,"

said Mr. Giles. He pointed to the name of the book.
"I brought this from England especially for you,” said Mr. Giles.
“What makes you think this country has any use for history that old?” asked Buffy.

“He might be right just because the native natives had no knowledge of vampires,” asked Willow
“Vampyres, vampires call them what you like,
the natives of this country may not have known of them

it does not stop the country having been flooded with them, that is why I'm here,” said Buffy.
“Who are you that the creatures from hell would know of you?” asked Willow.
“Buffy is the Vampire Slayer, she is the Chosen One, she has been called to be here,” said Giles.

“Hmm, I get the feeling he is going to keep repeating that, and even embellish it,” said Buffy.
“I get the feeling he is going to enjoy being here,
there's a new history here for him to learn here."

Willow looks to Buffy.
“I bet he will expect us to remember all the details he finds," said Buffy.
"Then I'd better warn Xander never to come in here, I know that will upset him,” said Willow.

“This Xander, is he a person who loves a library?” asked Mr Giles.
Willow rolled her eyes.
“Xander is a boy, he loves the books in a library, especially the ones with the pictures of witches.

“Oo!” exclaimed Buffy and fastened up another couple of buttons on the top of her blouse.
Willow gave an exaggerated glare to Buffy,
“That was probably a good thing to do,” she said

“I only did that so he'd not get embarrassed
by not knowing to look at my eyes,” said Buffy.
Mr. Giles gave a puzzled glance to Buffy then suddenly became very embarrassed.

(that was Willows oooh look at them moment, from Doppelganger)

Mr. Giles was concentrating on one of his library books when Willow and Buffy walked up to and beside him, Buffy smiled to Mr. Giles faked and interest in what he was doing, Willow said she wanted to know what he was looking at then turned a page asking what it was he was looking at.

Mr. Giles looked to Willow,
“The chapter that I am reading is about the curses in Peru that exist in the time today.”
Mr. Giles continued to read the book.

“This book is all about the curses that were known to exist long ago not that those same ones might still exist today.”
Willow stood on her tip-toes. She continued to read over Mr. Giles' shoulder,
“Oh I see, that is how it is, are you two joined at the hip as well?” asked Buffy.

Willow glared at her friend.
“Mr. Giles and I were reading about a specific curse in particular,” said Willow.
“One that I would have thought you might well be interested in,” said Mr. Giles.

Buffy leant a bit closer, straining to see what curse they might be on about.
“I doubt that Buffy is that bothered by which curse we might be looking at she's more interested in his dental work,” said Mr. Giles.
“So that is ten points for the watcher and none for his Slayer,” said Xander.

“More importantly the girl making googly eyes at the watcher gets to make a funny face to the Slayer,” he continued
Mr. Giles smirked to himself then he took off his glasses and wiped them clean.
He looked at the broken parts of a plate that the mummy held still held, alarmed he stepped back in surprise,

“Oh, I'd never have guessed such a thing could possibly have happened,” said Mr. Giles.
As he took a closer look at the figure laying below him, he glanced to Buffy.
Buffy accepted the look of mock surprised from Mr. Giles, she realised what he was saying.

Buffy knew what Xander would not like from her so Buffy grinned to Willow saying the Inca mummy was a daddy,
“Does that mean that the exchange person might have boy parts?”
Going back to her house Buffy told her mother they were pulling a tall story on Xander,

Joyce was quick to join in the fun, she said it was to late to prepare another bedroom, Joyce asked,
“Buffy will you mind if you have to share your room just for tonight?”
Xander was shocked that Buffy's mum could think of such a thing.

It was late the next morning while they were in the library that Xander found out they had all been playing a joke on him,
while he was unimpressed that he had been the butt of their joke,
he was grateful to learn that the news of the exchange student was just a joke.

Xander thought his luck was in, seeing the exchange was so shy it meant he would have a chance with her
though he soon became shocked when Willow said she that mummy had made a pass with her,
Buffy acted surprised until Willow whispered to her, with a smile she said the pass was in a game of netball.

After Rupert's First Few Months at Sunnydale High

I stood a pace or two back from the grave's headstone and faced Buffy. On that tragic day not knowing that an era was about to come to its end I looked to Buffy and asked her . . . .
Which one of the following expressions best describes the theme of the passage in the story?

A: That violence breeds violence or
B: That all good things must end,
Buffy interrupted me stating that a B hadn't been offered for a while, so she would choose B.

I told Buffy to take the test seriously, “Unless you actually want to resit the S.A.T.'s.”
I thought that'd get her attention and it did. Oh I did like to see that look of pure horror.
“You mean I might actually have to resit the S.A.T.'s test?” Buffy reacted increduously.

What made the concept of my vampire slayer having to resit the S.A.T.'s an even greater horror was that she hadn't taken them yet!
Of course I knew she'd hate that!
“And C: That all systems would tend to lead towards chaos.”

Buffy was about to panic (again (tee hee)) yet while she was sat on the ground she pointed to something behind me.
“Vampire, she said matter of factly.” As though it was the norm.
I faced my slayer not knowing how best to reply.

Buffy seemed to smile at having a good excuse to avoid doing the homework stating that only she and the undead
were working that night. Knowing that my usual 'hmm' might make Buffy stare at me in disbelief I feigned a surprised 'ooh',
Buffy cast a disbelieving glance to me.

Having bought more bars of chocolate than I needed to I told Buffy that her training would continue in the library
the following evening. When the following evening presented itself Buffy came to me though she found a
lame excuse to leave saying, “It is my moms fault.”

Unknown to Buffy I went to have a talk with her mother, we devoured a bit more of the chocolate than we should have.
When Buffy presented herself to her mother Buffy tried to make her mother believe she had been training with me.
That is when I made my presence known.

Joyce and I complained to Buffy about her tardiness, Buffy stated it was our fault, that we had both kept her busy for
twenty four hours a day – forty eight hours between us. I faced Joyce and we contrived an excuse for us to be together
Joyce handed Buffy the keys for the Geek Mobile.

Buffy was gob smacked! She was so surprised that she had won an argument, and she'd been presented with the ignition keys
for geek mobile. Buffy told her mother she would not need to tell her twice. Buffy thought about it then realised
she'd been told twice. Buffy drove the geek mobile away.

Neither Joyce nor I thought Buffy had suspected anything about us both being there, we ate several bars of chocolate
before going out for some more bars of chocolate, on the way I broke into a shop to give Joyce a shawl she liked, Joyce thought
the shawl might be a jacket but she had taken a liking to it.

I even managed to impress Joyce that much with my 'bravery' she wore that thing so much, Joyce allowed me to do it with her,
twice, on the front of a police car in broad daylight, (not that I'd ever call Joyce a broad)
it helped that the metal over the engine was nice and warm.

At the wholesaler while Joyce and I were making out Buffy and her friends (not Snyder though) came there,
for another reason though. Buffy seemed very surprised to see her mother and me snogging in the open.
It could be said that Buffy was shocked to see her mother and I, that we knew how to kiss.

Dragging her mother away from me Buffy told her why she was there, Buffy ordered me to help her
asking me if I wanted to battle with a vampire slayer in a bad mood. Then Buffy said about the babies that might be eaten,
Joyce and I decided to offer our help to Buffy and her friends.

Joyce was glad we were able to beat off the Demon that was going to eat the babies. Though Joyce had heard that
her daughter was a vampire slayer. She had never realised exactly what that meant. That night Joyce learnt what
her daughter did, that she'd fight and kill demons. Joyce was happy the babies got to live.

Rupert's First Couple of Days at Sunnydale High Issue number 5.

After Ruperts first half year at Sunnydale High was known about.

Giles began to consider the strange thoughts he was having were about future events that would affect his slayer, of his conceptual thoughts of future events came to him long before Buffy ever told him of her possible prophetic dreams about the future events that were of relevance to her.

His latest range of prophetic thoughts he likened to some Fairy Tale characters he had read about, Giles knew they were about to make their presence felt in Sunnydale. He decided to keep his thoughts to himself though, he thought he would now be able to help Buffy do her calling better. His latest thoughts were of a fairy tale he had read of when he was a child.

The Gentlemen had roamed the streets of a town and collected a number of seven that they needed. The trouble was Giles was unable to understand what it was that the seven had referred to. He was unable to begin seeking the reasoning for what the seven meant so Giles decided to seek some help from the wisest of Buffy's friends.

After much deliberation he decided to seek Willow's assistance rather than go to Oz. Giles' reasoning was that Willow was more of a friend to Buffy than Oz, also that she was easier for him to talk to. He and Willow would spend their time in the comfort of silence searching through any books they could find to find any references to what it was that the Gentlemen searched for.

After a long night of searching the books Giles eventually got home. While relaxing he received a phone call from Buffy in which she said about a prophetic dream she'd had the previous night. Being secretly glad to learn of his slayers dream Giles knew he could tell Willow to dig deeper to find the help that Buffy would need.

What Giles didn't know was that Buffy had found an in to the secrets of the initiative. Furthermore it was unknown to him that Buffy and one of the army boys (Riley) began to have feelings for each other. Had Giles known of his slayers involvement with the army boy he could have stopped the deep search for news about them.

Willow was able to tell Giles how much Buffy had begun to know about the initiative and how they sought to protect Sunnydale from the demons. Giles was still unimpressed about them as he knew the army boys were not as clever as their leaders pretended to be. Giles began to know what the initiatives boys were told, about what they were to do but not what the proposed outcome of their efforts was.

Giles was able to get messages to his slayer that the Gentlemen were seeking the hearts of victims. There was a reason for the Gentlemen to get hearts though neither Giles nor Willow could find a definitive answer. They agreed that there was a possibility was that the Lords of Hell wanted to build a creature that would be able to blend in with humans and enable them some demonic dominance.

Though the news of what the initiative were doing dried up when Buffy and one of the initiatives boys put a stop to the Gentlemen collecting hearts. All that Giles learnt was that Riley and some Forest guy had gone into an elevator when the Gentlemen had stolen the voices. That the protection measures of the initiative were overridden.

Giles could not understand why the elevator had allowed them to escape into the army base. Giles thought less of the wisdom of the initiative after that, Willow was undecided about the intelligence of such a name for the army and how it referred to them.

When Rupert's Time Had Begun To Flash Passed Him. Issue Number 6

After having decided what needed to be done, I asked Willow to come to my apartment. As soon as I saw that she saw that she was in a happy mood I began to give her the start of the message that I had been planning. I thoughtfully decided that it would be best to get Willow to promise that she would not repeat it.

Willow was distraught at my having told her that and she almost panicked when I had her promise not to tell Buffy nor any of her friends until I gave her the okay signal. Poor Willow it was as though I had asked her not to mention that I had the crown jewels in my top drawer. Willow had enough considering to say that she didn't know what I had asked her to pretend she didn't know.

Poor Willow, then I wondered to myself if Willow does in fact know which or even whose crown jewels I was referring to. I almost decided to tell Willow that the crown jewels I had been referring to when I thought it would be stating the obvious that it was the Queen of England's crown jewels I meant.

Later in that evening I got an untimely visit from Xander and Anya, they were quickly followed by the rest of them, I saw a message in Anya's eyes though I took that message to be her poking her finger into her hand. It had not occurred to me before then that Anya wanted to do that to Xander and not him doing that to her. I did not like the thought of what she wanted to do, poking a finger into Xander.

It had never occurred to me that it was Anya who wanted to do to Xander as her finger suggested to his hand. Then it occurred to me that I might want to do that with Anya. I stared at Anya then looked around the room and hoped no one else had seen me, it had taken me long enough to get over Willows crush on me.

It was Willow who came to my reclusive minds rescue with some comment about what Dracula's stare was like. Buffy agreed with what Willow said though she was facing Riley. I knew at that moment that I had never felt so close to Tara as I did just then, it was as if I understood exactly how much Tara was in love with Willow.

When Tara faced Willow I knew how scared Willow was that any her friends had seen others could have seen how much I felt right then, I wanted all of my feelings for each of the girls to be a secret. I thought of Dracula's mind games, how he wanted all of the girls or boys to understand know how much he wanted everyone to know that he would get his way.

Though I didn't realise it, Spike had said something to Riley that made Riley seek the biggest most expensive mansion in Sunnydale as where Dracula might stay in. Riley and I went out that night to seek a big mansion, we wandered about in the area where the largest place would be and found, as a surprise to each of us there was a castle in Sunnydale.

Looking at the castle we both agreed it would be the most likely place to find mister tall dark and gorgeous, (as Buffy had described him). After searching through the corridors of the castle I found the dungeons where his three sisters congregated, or as I did wonder while they were seducing me, they might have been his wives.

Strangely enough I felt no guilt as those ' interesting ' young women seduced me, I may have even smiled at the thought that Dracula's women actually wanted a taste or two of me. I know I should not have felt pride about that but I did, it was better than being knocked out.

I Relied on Buffy To Save me From the End of Days

I was hesitant at telling my Slayer that the Watchers Council had taken it upon themselves to come Sunnydale to test her once again though this time I was unsure of what there reasons were.
Judging on what our threat was at present,

it was a safe bet Quentin and his band of fools had kept the news about Glory that they knew Buffy wanted/ needed us to think that they were in charge again. It was then that I attempted to force my will on my slayer so she would not fear what Quentin and his cronies nor considered what they might do if Buffy did not nor could not do to their satisfaction.

Luckily though Buffy had faced some last minute trials of her own. Glorificus had gone to my slayers home to face Buffy and her family, to tell her what she wanted to know. That had the opposite effect to what Glorificus had planned. On the way to my magic shop Buffy was confronted by a few of the Knights of Byzantium,

they wanted Buffy to give them the information the sought. After a quick skirmish Buffy began to realise just how much power she possessed. Even though she was late for the meeting with Quentin and his mob of fools Buffy took the high ground and ordered Quentin to do as she ordered or she would not allow him to be part of the game of the century.

That change of tactic worked as Quentin agreed to to my slayers terms, Buffy told him all she needed to know in order to begin the battle against the hellgod Glorificus. It was then that I saw just how lame the Watchers Council was, though it had taken power of the slayer on the world, I saw that it was the Powers That Be who had the power.

With the slayer though the Powers That Be never attempted to threaten the slayer or force their demands on her. I started to see that if the Watchers Council ceased to exist the Slayer would continue to watch over this world and that if the Vampire Slayers ceased to be, all the Watchers Council would be able to do was publish their findings in the Monsters Raving Loony Post magazines.

Prior to that meeting I had thought that my time with Buffy was at an end though when she entered the meeting in The Magic Shop I saw a glimmer of hope for the future in my slayers eyes. It was then that I knew of mankind's hope for the future rested in each of the Vampire Slayers capable hands.

I thought about each of Buffy's friends and which of them would offer her support against the Council, I guessed it was Spike who'd support Buffy with her trials against Quentin, Spike seemed to know what Buffy wanted. Willow and Tara could always be counted on, as could Xander,
it was in fact nigh on about all of Buffy's acquaintances who could be counted on.

although it was only Anya who I had any doubt with, though her voice could be swayed if her boss D'Hoffryn said he preferred Buffy rather than Quentin. My doubts about Tara rose mainly from her family's ludicrous belief that all magic was false, that their belief was like the corrupt scams placed on Tara by her father and brother that Tara would become evil.

It was because Spike had gone unwittingly to Tara's defence. Spike helped us all to see the truth about Tara. No had gone to Tara's defence until then he allowed it to be known that there was a link between Glory and Ben. Dawn found herself in Spike's debt thanks to her tentative realisation of the link between Glory and Ben.

No one understood what that link could be, it was only Spike who could see what was, he took little time to announce to everyone that Ben and Glory were the same being. Luckily for Dawn it was mainly that Spike was only not of the ultimate powers creations and could see what Glory and Ben's link was.

In light of that belief Spike and Buffy were able to rise to Dawns defence, even though Glory chose to advance the plans to make a dimensional gate out of Dawns body, Buffy had the confidence to stand up to Glory, to hopefully save Dawn.

The initial moments that Rupert knew of when he awoke and looked around the darkened room had him asking himself why he had fallen asleep on the lounge in his front room. Rupert was forced to accept the realisation that the ending of time had heralded itself to be the beginning of the prophesied end of times for the Watchers Council.

Rupert's thoughts themselves were he feared to be the end of time for the council and for him. Rupert began to understand that all was indeed not well and that there was a great deal of unimagined frustration being circled about the council himself and itself. Rupert suddenly realised that he had fallen asleep on the lounge, so he looked around the room.

“Have I just had a nightmare?” Rupert asked himself. He continued to face into the darkness in the room. “I know what kind of nightmares are in my mind, how do I feel after I have just had one." “That was when I realised it was no normal nightmare, I think that it was a dream about what has just happened, or maybe it is a dream of what is about to happen.

Rupert decided he had to do what his will would be thought to be of, “I had better go to the councils rooms before what I could fear most could become true.” Not wasting time Rupert readied himself to go to the councils headquarters. It was the first time he was glad that he had agreed to take a room with three others watchers who heralded from the outlying country residences.

Going into the depths of Watchers library Rupert deftly picked out the kind of books that he knew would be most helpful to Buffy in the coming times. It was in the days after that time before the Bringers destroyed the Watchers Council property that Rupert took the time to find where the Potentials were who lived locally to the locations he knew of.

Then he arranged for them to get the transport they needed for them out of England that he took them to where Buffy lived, he wanted that she could protect them. He was surprised to find out the First had set up camp in the hellmouth near to where the Slayer lived. Rupert thought that England would be where the First had its secret location to protect the world was.

Even though he gave word about the secrets of the First and about those who made ready what the first had ordered them do. He was glad when he met Buffy, seeing all those who were with her he realised he should never have left her although he was happy that he could supply her with news of the First.

Facing questions about how Buffy's friends bombarded him with questions about how they could kill the First, Rupert became saddened that he could not give anyone the answers they wanted, instead could could only tell them obscure information about the beginnings of the First.
Rather distraught that Buffy had to take it upon herself to show the Potential Slayers that the Turok-Han could be defeated.
