What's something/scene/moment about a ship you dislike that you love. Not just like, but full on love
For me, it has to be Spike's speech in 'Touched.
"When I say 'I love you', it's not because I want you... I love what you are"
It just makes my heart melt!
I also love their final interaction in 'Chosen', even though it's not as likely to melt me into a puddle of feelings

Those two scenes always hit me right in the heart. I love it.
I love when Spike comes in to the Doublemeat Palace and tells Buffy to quit and that he'll find money somewhere. Obviously it would likely be through dirty dealings but I think it's the thought that counts and the thought included some consideration of what the job could be doing to Buffy mentally which is more than her friends or 'father' figure could manage to do.

@The Bronze ‘s favorite: Principal Snyder & Buffy - It’s funny to think about 🤭😂

In all seriousness, I don’t care for Bangel, but it makes great television. IWRY also made me cry really hard when I saw it the first time, so that’s a point in its column.

The one thing I absolutely LOVE that results from it though is the exchange between them during the Angel S1 Faith two parter, where Angel goes off on her about how she came to tell him how great her life is without him. It’s some of the best acting from Boreanaz and it’s such a memorable scene. I love it.

I absolutely love “Close Your Eyes.” It’s a beautiful song that always makes me feel nostalgic (despite the fact that I’ve only been a Buffy fan for a year) and a little melancholy. Whenever I hear it, I want to cry, although that has almost nothing to do with Bangel, and everything to do with how I associate it with the loss of Buffy’s innocence. It’s heartbreaking.

School Hard don’t read it there are spoiler about Angel the series :

I love when Cordelia kisses the beast. I feel this is like a complicity between a master and her pets. So cute 🥰

I think Spuffy is problematic in some ways but SMG and JM do have good chemistry which leads to some believable and honest scenes.

In the S5 finale when Buffy trusts Spike and he says "I know you'll never love me, I know that I'm a monster but you treat me like a man" was really moving
The end of Fool for Love when Spike sees that Buffy is crying and comforts her
The fake engagement in Something Blue is so funny
