I tried commenting on the original post(of WRH vs The First) but it wouldn't let me🙁. Regarding the first vs Wolf Ram and Heart people kept stating that the first is incorporeal so it could not do anything. If you recall the first is banned and locked in the hell mouth. It needs the balance of beings on earth to shift from good to evil. That's why The First said "when the balance shifts I will become corporeal again and I will ..." destroy everything and etc. Once the first is unleashed it can stop anything(in my opinion). As stated in the show it cannot be killed or stopped. It can only be kept incorporeal. From what I gathered in the show all the original demons were banished out of earth's dimension. I would assume the first(no pun intended) demon/god that was banished was The First as that exists in every thing and everyone. Then from then on they banished more and more demons and old ones. If it got out I would also assume it could run freely amongst dimensions and be completely unkillable. This is just what I gathered from the show. Please write back. I'm curious what others think.

The first part of what you wrote seems to be correct. The First was incorporeal but would become corporeal if the number of vampires exceeded the number of people on earth. Once it became corporeal, it could enter into the hearts of everyone on earth. Wolf, Ram & Hart could interact with the world and with other dimensions like Pylea, but we never see the instructions given by the "senior partners" or who the senior partners are, but we assume it is also evil and possibly the ultimate evil i.e. the First.

Didnt we see a senior partner in the one episode where Darla needed the glove to kill one?
It was a senior partner but it was just the hosting body that actually died not the partner itself.

I'm going to have to rewatch it again lol. I thought it was already in all the hearts of everyone regardless as the seeing eye said. And it cannot be killed where as stated by Illyria the senior partners where barely above the vampire which makes them kill able(I'm assuming). I agree there is no manual on them. I also remember reading that one of Joss Whedons idea for his original season finale(since he thought there was going to be a 6th) was that the PTB were going to turn out to be the real big bads all a long and purposesly misguiding people this whole time. Man I miss Buffy 🙁

I thought that the Senor Partners weren't that powerful & that was why they running WRH in the first place.
And the part about the PTB being the big bad all alone makes great sense in how bad they were helping Buffy out.
