Was Justine believable?

Ok so Justine is a normal human girl who lost her twin sister to vampires. After that, she decides to kill vampires to avenge her sister's death and is even called the fake slayer.

Is it just me or does it not make any sense? How can she kill vampires alone is she has no superpowers and no special tranning? The actress they choose is not especially muscular and we are told nowehere that she was aware of vampires or killing them before like Gunn did in his youth.

We are told multiple times in Buffy that regular humans should not take on vampires alone because they will surely die. So how has Justine survived so long killing vamps on her own?

I'm sure one of you have some ideas to explian this!

Gunn is kind of a fake vampire slayer, albeit male, both before but especially after his sister was killed. Cordelia kills vampires. The Scoobies hunt vampires, not very well, but still, when Buffy leaves town after season 2. Humans shouldn't do it alone, but they can. That's what makes Justine believable to me.

Do we really know she had no special training? Or for how long she's been fighting vampires?

I'm thinking that she does have training and that she, probably knowing her own greatest weakness (being human), hunts vampires more tactically so as to make sure she has the advantage. Doubtless, without supernatural help she would've died soon enough, though.

I got the impression that Justine would've been killed in that graveyard had Holtz not interfered (though she blamed him for that).

IMHO, most of the Vampires in Season 1 & 2 were Aurealians, of the Master's blood, the elite, with the mystic energy of the hellmouth flowing through them. LA Vampires are shown as little better than vagrants who were turned recently and preyed on other vagrants. While I'm no fan of Anya and Fred killing demons in hand to hand combat, I can accept hunters, as long as they show as having great skill and are taking heavy losses in direct confrontation.
