What are you listening to? - 35

"Cobra" by Geese. It's interesting how it manages to both feel jaunty and melancholy.
Also, this video, compiling a bunch of clips of dancing and setting them to it, made me tear up.

I’ve been listening to some old streams of DJ sets at HÖR today. Good for grinding through a big pile of reading assignments! I really liked this one.

Right this second it's the song "Semi-Automatic" from the album Every God Forsaken Morning by Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers. This is my favorite song on the album, I think.

I've been listening to a lot of albums lately, and I especially like listening to artists who only have a handful of albums out because it's really easy to listen to a large portion of their discography multiple times and form a really strong impression of what their work is about. With this band, for example, I like this album better overall because of how the songs fit together stylistically, but there are individual songs on their self-titled debut that I like more.
