Is Lindsey-Darla non-canonical? I may have read that situation entirely wrong, but it seemed to me that at the very least, fresh-out-of-the-oven Darla had some sort of connection with Lindsey. As time went on, sure it either dissolved or never existed, but it felt like something happened between them.

To answer the question, canon Spuffy 😍 & non-canon Cangel. So disappointed that they never ended up together before Cordelia was written off. Felt like the signs were there since S1 E1 of AtS.

I think that the relationship was one-way. Lindsey was in love with Darla, while Darla, for better or for worse, was always attracted to Angel. Darla only cared about Lindsey Macdonald to use him against Angel or W&H, but they were never a couple.

While I think that Cangel is absolutely canon. You're Welcome is proof of this
