✨The Random Thread Returns✨

Come on, don't any of you have relatives who you would like better medium well done (you never know where they have been) with sauteed onions and Portobello mushroom caps? Give it some thought. Just think @Anyanka Bunny Slayer , you keep mentioning your sister. Rather than sun tan lotion, wouldn't she look better with barbeque sauce?

She could be "the other white meat".

Apparently the idea of cannibalism is quite inspirational. And being a rather warped individual, I've just thought of a few recipe ideas:

Bone marrow burger with fingertip fries
Earlobes with escargot sauce
Lung linguine with toenail garnish
Eyeball/egg bake
Earlobe salad with teardrop dressing

It appears as though you forgot about the stuff that is finger licking good, the lovely liver.
The carpenters favourite, the mort(l)ice and tendon cutlets.

And where is knowledge about unsuitable children kept? The Bastard Files.

Cannibalism gives new meanings for those hot girls, (beats a hotdog any day).

Who'd have guessed there would be so much fun to gain from cannibalism?

What if aliens invaded Earth to harvest human embryos for snacks? After all, many of us eat chicken eggs, so it's basically the same thing.
I had a dream about cannibalism, it was a podcast or radio show and it was about whether vegans could eat humans or not.

What's love got to do with it? Hmm, (tilts head) that could be a song, err what?
How would human flesh taste like Pork. I doubt if vegans were or are capable of farming humans like pigs.
As per the aliens from the comment on #122, did they come here just to be farmers?

Once again, I've read a post of yours several times and have NO idea what you're talking about. I almost feel like an archaeologist who's discovered hieroglyphics for the first time.

Where's Alan Turing when we need him?! 😅

Ahh, thank you for the kind words.

Dear Anyanka Bunny Slayer,
thank you for those kind words - which were,
who's for the first time I discovered hieroglyphics almost like an archaeologist feel,
though not in the same order as #126 although you may probably have noticed that.
I bet you enjoyed the experience though and that you are glad you read all that curfuffle, that's another minute of your life you will never get back tee hee.

Well, Alan Turing would not have done you any good as he was a cryptanalyst,
maybe if he had been a crypticanalyst that would've been better.

Well now, that IS random

@Nix definitely understood the assignment.

I am trying to make myself have a dream about MJ in that gold suit from the HIStory tour. Apparently fans call it the Ferrero Rocher MJ, but I wasnt sure if that was something racist. Anyway, no luck yet. I shall try again tonight.

Watching Masterchef now and pissed off, I thought this was the grand final but its the semi final. Ugh this show just drags by the end. They did a flashback to the start of the season and all the contestants looked younger, but in reality they were probably just skinner...

I used to love MasterChef (Luca!), but a couple of seasons ago, it started to really drag for me. They were giving us less to get to know the contestants, making it harder to care who won or lost, and they were making more crappy decisions when it came to cutting people. It somehow seemed like the season went by too quickly and yet also like it dragged on. Which is impressive, to be sure, but it doesn't make for good viewing.

Do you watch Masterchef US or AU? I am watching AU, I never liked the US version. I duno why AU started using the tacky US sign in the background! I HATE it. But I do like Gordon Ramsey when he visits out show. I remember when it started here and I thought it would never last, now its been on tv for over a decade and has produced most of our tv talent from that channel haha. Ours is heavy on the nostalgia and getting to know the contestants. But the ingredients and technique make most of the recipes well out of the realm of every day cooks nowdays.

I've seen both, but I was referring to the US version. I think I've only seen the first season of AU from what I recall. I don't blame you for not caring for it. Much like the US Kitchen Nightmares, it's far more focused on drama than its counterpart.

Speaking of Australian shows, though, do you watch My Kitchen Rules? I used to watch some of that as well, and, for the most part, I really liked the show.

I don't blame you. It's not the best. I think ostentatious is a good word for it. Or gaudy, if you prefer less syllables. 🙂

But I do like Gordon Ramsey when he visits out show.

I love Gordon Ramsey. He's the main reason I started watching MasterChef in the first place.

I'll have to dig back into MasterChef AU sometime and see how I feel about its following seasons. I wasn't opposed. I just never got around to it. Life is what happens when you're busy making plans and all that.

Its changed a LOT since season 1. We've gone through a few judges with scandal and death. I prefer the Jock, Andy, Mel era over the three men judging, but I also love the current seasons with Poh as a judge (who was second place in season 1).

I have seen some seasons. If i get hooked, I watch the lot, but I dont think I have since those cute tassie truffle farmers were on it a few years back. They made the shops sell out of lamb backstrap for months!

There used to be a show named My Restaurant Rules and we actually went to the Restaurant that won it. Had to line up down the block for it, but was a fun night out.

I adore Australian reality tv, it used to be head and shoulders above the rest of the world. Survivor is the best one 😉 I am not so keen on love island or farmer wants a wife types. The Traitors is about to begin so we'll see how that goes with its new host! .

Do you watch other reality or just the cooking ones?

Imgbox has been done for a while and it's now coming back online. You can't view your images or galleries but you can at least view feeds from their sponsor, which they are asking people to visit. Their adult cam sponsor... 😳
