Your opinion on William?

I always thought it was really interesting and funny. As well as going a ways to explaining Spike's conflicted nature in later seasons. He is also a lot funnier in his cool, vampire persona when you realize that much of it is put on. Like he is overcompensating.

Spike is 1000x better then William 😀

I have no issue with William. He seemed like a nice guy, though perhaps a bit codependant on his mother and certainly not the most talented poet in the world. Dru took advantage of his naivety though and I do feel bad for him when he kills his own mother.

Hmmm tough as I didn't adore him. I thought he was too dependant on his mother for a lot of things at an age when he should have been independent a lot more, and although a hopeless romantic, also a bit naive and thoughtless of his mother's actual emotions.

Sweet enough but unfortunately he had a fundamental weakness of character.
